Pete, of some interest in your thought of Thomas and Simon being 2 1/2 miles apart in Chicago and the possibility of Simon using public transportation to work for Thomas. One E. Thomas Jr. gun is marked Made for D H Louderbach. Mr. Louderbach seems to be a business man of the first order and , among other things, built much of the transit system in Chicago. His other business interests are broad. Maybe just trivia, but Simon may have gone to work on the Louderbach built train.
