Even though I only "rough shoot", and I do mean ROUGH, I do wear breeks, but wear some beautiful water-proofed leather boots from Le Chameau (sp?) my wife bought me years ago. They're high, and go right up to just under my knees, so my breeks flop over them. They're perfect when you hit the low swamps in the deep woods.

After all, you gotta have a little class when you tote a beautiful, vintage British shotgun into the briars!


Well said!! Love my tweed breeks. I wear leather-lined Le Chameau boots and they are incredible - they make a huge difference.
