Another possibility, and likely the problem with Run's Speciality, is that the tip of the sear has rounded and does not fully seat in the tumbler notch. Dan Lammers (who is now in CA) worked on the locks of one of my Smiths, and the first time I pulled the trigger was one of those "where have you been all my life" moments.
