One of the British sporting magazines, either "The Field" or "Shooting Gazette" did a piece a year or two ago about a Purdey with the receiver covered in Swarovski crystals, and the barrels were gold plated. Someone pointed out that, if you're going to show up at a shoot with that thing, you better be able to shoot like a god
