That gun is an old gun. It is pre silicone. Small, sagging breast, not over size rocks like you see on a modern version of the same type engraving. Almost a classic. You know like one of the early gas operated auto loaders.

Apparently the gun wasn't made for Hefner but for...."The late Gordon Brent of Memphis commissioned that Francotte. The Managing Director of Francotte told me there was a translation problem and the engraver went beyond what Gordon wanted."
Really? If there was a bit of a language barrier I suppose the buyer could have gotten frustrated and at the stage engraving came up he said "Just give me some fu@#ing engraving!"
And that's exactly what he got."
