tanky Sidelock Joined: May 2006 Posts: 337 Likes: 18 New Jersey	I annealed a LC Smith frame and lock plates in the kitchen oven on the clean cycle. There was a light gray ash left on some areas but it worked very good for me and I would do it again. Let the parts cool in the oven naturally. Steel was easy to work after treatment.
