Buzz, you don't want to use "BSL" for the Miroku-made sidelocks. Browning is (or was) marketing a higher dollar sidelock called the BSL, which was finished in Belgium by Lebeau-Courally.
Yes, sorry for the inaccurate statement. The Lebeau-Courally are beautiful sidelocks made for Browning but significantly more money than the Miroku sidelock. I have handled one and they handle beautifully, but for that kind of money, one can have an English sidelock. I wonder if the Browning by Lebeau-Courally will ever have collector appeal?? I have seen many on the market which seem to be a tough sell.
