On Friday, December 30, 2011, my 16 gauge A. Ilsley, while soft cased, inexplicably fell off the back of a parked truck into grass and shattered the stock. I was stunned when I pulled it out of the case; the receiver and barrels flopped over while I held the stock. Only the tang held the stock to the receiver. On January 3rd, I UPS'd it to Mark Larson in Tacoma. It arrived the following week. It's on its way back to Georgia tomorrow. Judging from the photos, Mark did a great job and I can't wait to get it back. Here are the "before" and "after" photos. Try as I might, I couldn't get them in order. The photos with the red background are after repair.
