As noted above, I shot it exactly twice at skeet sta. 2 singles. Centered both; put it away. So, I'd say again that the comb without "excessive" drop is nice. Well, Mike Orlen did clean it up a bit ahead of the chambers on the theory that pits as stress risers are worse than the loss of wall thickness. Didn't take much as I suspicioned it wouldn't after similar experience having a "cordurory road" honed out of a Remmy hammergun. Some loss of "barrel substance" of course as old Gough said right before his paraphrastic tribute to Bobby Burns: "The blue is but the barrel's tint; the steel's the thing for a' that." I'm sticking with bp pressures (5Kpsi).
