short answer from my limited knowledge
2 main mechanical differences of Boss and Woodward OUs
1) locking lugs on Boss are an extension of the barrels
locking lugs on a Woodward are cut into the barrels
2) hinge pins on Boss are unique moving (rotating) "trunions"
hinge pins on a Woodward are 2 "normal" stationary pins
that the barrels rotate around

or you can go to high end gun dealers and line them up and admire
they are both wonderful guns and picking between the 2 would require careful though and deep pockets
