You can see that a cut 410 will not work.


A chamber cast would help ID the cartridge. There were a lot available, even more when you take the UK and Europe into account.

I also acquired this H&R 44XL sxs recently.


These 2 make a 410 seem a goose gun. Very limited range, perhaps 25 feet.

These are about as close as American guns came to "garden guns". There were also parlour guns, but they are all rifled rimfires.
