I honestly don't know g. When organic and synthesis are hooked together, it seems the fall under the biochemistry category. I would be able to understand it, so you rightly took your high road.
I just saw it as a possible concrete point to discuss, rather than feeling, history and general philosophical approach. No big deal, definitely not important.
