Denli does have nice wood. I just like to work with a company that is in the states. Luxus wood still comes from Turkey but if there were any flaws in the blank, Clay could replace it (which he would do) without the custom's issues/shipping costs as he has a US based business (OHIO to be exact).

My dad and I know Pete Hiatt well also. He's a nice guy and his site would be helpful. It gives a good overview of the the process.
