I was looking at an F. Huels hammer gun this a.m., and the barrels and their measurements brought up some questions. The gun is chambered for 2 1/2" 12 gauge, but the bores measure .693", which is a 14 bore. Barrels are 33 1/8" long and weigh 7 pounds even. Very heavy. The gun has a pin forend and rebounding hammers. Is the chamber/bore discrepancy common ? Barrels appear to be fluid steel and there are no proofmarks or serial no.
