Raimey, thanks for the info on Marr and Richards. I had never encountered their name before. Do you know what types of things they engraved, other than this gun ?
I own all of the Fritz Huels guns I have ever seen, which is a total of one. Years ago I heard he made scheutzen [sp?] rifles, but have never seen one. Yes, the gold eyes on the "hammer dragons" are fun. He must have been a handy mechanic to work on the State's Gatling gun. Quite close to the gun, as his address is the State Capitol.
Here's a bit on the inside of the gun. What origin would one think the locks were ? They are rebounding. The gun has a pinned forend.
