Thanks all for the kind words and support. The "North Dakota" SxS Shoot, was just an informal get together. Wade was kind enough to invite me and the boys out to his place for some good food and a some fun shooting our doubles. The name I used was a spoof. As everyone knows, we are just a bunch of hicks here and don't have the resources to establish a true "event" such as the Southern (I'm being a smart a$$ here, so don't get in an uproar), so we just get together no pressure, just good times. My boys do wear glasses, but left them at home for some reason. OK, so, me bad and I should be horse whipped.
The bottom line is we have fun!!! I've had my boys shooting since they were 6. I like to think I did impart some safety and responsiblity in shooting firearms to them. And enjoying the hunt and the shooting sports. In fact this Saturady, we're going out to the range and shoot some pistols (C96 Mauser Broomhandle, P-08 Luger and a P-38) and the weekend after that some surplus military rifles. So they are well rounded with all forms of firearms. Tomorrow is clays again after school and work.
Anyway, thanks again for all the kindness!! And thank you Wade and Christina for a wonderful weekend!!!
