Not very impressive and built on a Baker action. They did make a 'Best' quality sidelock but so far I have never seen one. Come to think of it that is the first boxlock I have ever seen too. They did make a crude single 12 called the Vanguard and good examples of that can be had for around 10. Vickers was owned by Lord Armstrong of Cragside house in Northumberland. A very interesting place to visit being the first house to have electric lighting from its own hydro power and one of the first to have its own internal telephone system. He was a big ship builder making ships for both sides in the Russo/Japanese war. It's worth Googling Cragside to find out more about the man behind the gun. Lagopus.....
