I just can't seem to work up the requisite energy and all-around vintage gun curiosity since Tony's absence whenever I sign on here.
Much more often than not I find myself drifting from here to there and then signing off. "Malaise" doesn't even begin to describe it.
Is it me, or does anyone else feel similar deflation of spirit?

Krakow, I know what you mean. I never had the pleasure of an introduction to Tony. We never even exchanged a personal e-mail, but I still think about him when I come here. He seemed like a very sincere guy, honest and pleasant, ready to jump in when someone was having a problem with their gun. Yes, guys like him certainly leave a void with their passing.

Marc, Take heart in the fact that though Tony may have gone to be with God, his positive attitude and generous spirit lives on in those that he touched in life. Steve

Is it me, or does anyone else feel similar deflation of spirit? He was a good guy...personally I don't think he should've told everyone his problems. I do realize he was going through a terrible time. Truth is once he started telling about his cancer I pretty much stopped looking at his threads.

For once, I'm in total agreement with jOe!
The guy was a good fellow. And a decent craftsman. But he's dead. And the Earth saw a new sunrise today.
Let the public blubbering cease!

Truth is I stopped reading his posts because it made me feel strange seeing him reach out into a place as nasty and fowl as cyber space for help or sympathy.

I find all the platitudes about angels and better places a bunch of hooey. Honor your departed friends and loved ones by carrying on.

Sorry jOe... the pipe is only a conduit for the crap generated by humanity. If there's anything "fowl" in the world, it comes out of the mind of [censored] sapiens.
