I am not much for repeating shotguns, but I did fall in love with a Marlin 'Standard Gun' made in 1898. It was well used, and somewhat abused, and required lots of TLC. It has no bluing left, but is quite functional. All the safety devices work properly, which can be the ultimate demise of a Marlin pump if not maintained properly. I will use it for the occasional nostalgia hunt. Cheers!
