Has anyone had a short-tang Citori pistol grip stock professionally converted to an english-straight stock configuration?
If so, who did the work, and what was the fee?

The existing Citori I would like to "convert" to an english stock has very pretty wood, and a matching forearm.

David Travallian shows how it's done in the book Shotgun Technicana.
If you're not inclined to do it yourself, I'm sure there are a good number of smiths here that can help you out. Steve Bertram, possibly Mark Larson, Classic Gunstocks, Dennis Potter, CJO, Gunter Pfrommer, and others that I can't recall at this time. Each would have their own quote. Best to contact one of them directly and offline, IMO.

Jerry, Jim Greenwood in Augusta, Kansas can do an excellent job of converting a pistol grip to straight English Grip. I don't know what the cost would be.

FWIW, I took a 686 28ga to Jack Dockweiler for a similar conversion and he talked me out of it. After he measured things, he concluded that it just wouldn't look right.

I do not own one, but have seen a couple straight grip conversions that Keith Kearcher has done---they've looked very nice. His price list shows it costs ~ $375 plus engraving and bluing. If he'll do a straight grip conversion as expediently as his repair work, you can expect a very reasonable turnaround time. http://members.toast.net/keithkearcher/pricing.html
