I found this in a gun shop about 30 years ago and have had it hanging on the wall of the shop as a conversation piece. It is a 410 caliber the receiver is made in layers as is the barrel apparently the maker/craftsman/blacksmith formed each layer of the barrel on a mandrel and fitted them on the lug with pins. the receiver is made the same way with layers. The barrel is wrapped with bailing wire, the same stuff that is used to bail hay. A 410 will chamber and fire, primers tested only.
I put it here just as a conversation piece and to show that if there is a want someone will fulfill it. I think it is a great piece of folk art and it its own way quite interesting. there are 11 photos in all so I put the album on rather than all the photos. I you want they can be posted just did not want to take up too much space on the site.
