I just imported a gun from England which cost less than $10k. I was told I would have a small import fee at the time of purchase......well, with duty fees, customs fees, airport fees and importer fees I got the very unpleasant surprise that I now owe the importer $728.30 before this gun can be shipped to my FFL holder. Plus it took over 4 months for the gun to arrive in the USA. Do I have reason to be upset a little with these 'hidden' fees? I don't think I will EVER import another gun!
