Have you thought about where you might have seen this?

I was working on his file today and noticed (I'd missed it the first go around) that on the ship manifest his occupation is listed as "Chair Maker".

Not sure what that means, if anything, I remember finding Wundhammer's which says he was a locksmith.

I'm not sure but it may have been an article in the "American Rifleman." I used to read all the early(pre-war)issues I could find. Even the ads.I'll go through my stuff and see if I can come up with something more definitive.

Mr. Hutton went to the range also and I had the same problem with the Noske scope. I screwed it out until I could still open and close the bole and it was semi-focused.

First one out at 9 o'clock adjusted the scope (too much) out at 3 O'clock, more adjustments and tried walking it over. I just love it when they make a straight line across.

Scope has crosswire and dot, shot at 50 yards.



Made one more adjustment and fired three on another target.
