It is in really nice shape. No pits, very clean bores, some case, very heavy (9lbs-ish). By no means excellent. It was given a clean bill of helth from a very well know shop/smith, not far from here.
It looked as though it had been carried more than it had been shot.
I was concerned about serviceability, as I reload for a 16ga Flues and 2 12ga Bakers. I was not looking to get into a 23/4" 10ga, 27/8 maybe.
What are the service pressures you would suggest as guidelines? Are there books you would suggest I read for more information about 10ga guns.
Not sure why but I like the idea of an old 10 and duck hunting.
