The rifle is chambered in 45/70 and its main purpose will be to shoot steel animals. Mr. Fewless is bluing the barrel and doing a bang up job I mught add. I did volunteer to do the bluing but Glenn wanted to do it so he could continue to view the "wedding ring" transition on the barrel.

Steve, Crosnoe profiled the wood for this gun. I used the long range version for my gun because I like the looks of it better but that is a matter of personal choice.
