Certainly not a stellar Baker Sterling example, but one I am so happy to have found. As previously mentioned in another thread, it was not the condition of the gun I thought I had bought, but it is what I got. So to make the best of the bad thing, the shattered wrist was repaired and finally after a 1 1/2 yr. wait, she is home. I finally was able to get to the trap range on Tues. to shoot her for the first time. She fits me great! The first 25 I shot at, I dropped the first bird and then ran the rest. As is typical of me, it is what do I do now? Re-blue her? Of course redo the wood and checkering, the finish has been compromised by the wrist repair anyhow? Just enjoy her as she is? As a Baker fan and this is by no stretch the high end Baker SBT trap, but a Sterling. I am enjoying her immensely! Ser. no. 45 does put it rather early in the history of SBT guns. Personally, I love her and shoot her well.
