Breda still makes autoloaders, the latest model being the inertia operated Xanthos, a design by Bruno Civolani who also invented the Benelli system. But the Breda is different, not just a clone.
In the past Breda marketed OUs and SXSs that were Beretta models with slight external changes. More recently it sold the Zoli OU with the detachable trigger group.
Now, Acciaio Breda, or B4 markigs are another story. By sticking the stamps Acciaio Breda, literally Breda Steel on a gun, and allowing the buyer to assume what he wanted about provenance is how many cheap guns were sold to gullible folks. These guns have no relation to the real Breda shotguns. Most of the Acciaio Breda guns are cheap items and badly finished. Beware!
