A nice C.E. Overbaugh sourced thru Schoverling, Daly & Gales:

"Prussian-made Charles Daly 12ga regent Diamond Grade, barrel marked C.E. Overbaugh & Co. New York, also engraved in each side of the locks. Serial #3734. Barrels stamped LE and probably made by Lindner. Charles E.Overbaugh was a well known in shooting circles and was a Sharps exhibition shooter and the firms chief traveling salesman, and president of the New York Schutzen club. The gun shows 30 fine Damascus patternbarrels with beautiful hand-filed raised rib and is finely engraved with banknote scrolls and panel game scenes of the highest quality. Stock measures 14-5/8 to the end of the wood, 14-7/8 to the end of the originalbuttplate. The gun is nicely stocked in select grain walnut with rounded pistol grip, horn forend cap on splinter forend and fancy checkered horn buttplate. The gun shows double triggers, non-selective automaticejectors, cocking indicators, and quality workmanship throughout. The barrel shows 90% original brown with near all of its pattern, just some slight loss at the breech and muzzle. The frame shows 50-70% case hardening"
