I'm hearing he actually did have surgery last night and they did two bypasses. I have left a message on Joanne's cell and will report or confirm as soon as I know something.

Just spoke with Steve's secretary Melinda and Steve is doing ok. He did have a double bypass last night as I previously mentioned.
Hopefully he has the worst behind him and can begin to improve.

Always nice to hear of positive outcomes & this sounds like it will become one. I've met & spoken w/him several times and have friends who have done numerous deals w/him, all positive as well .. and that's saying a lot these days. We don't need to lose any more good guys. I hope his recovery is quick and 100% & that I can see him in Tulsa in November & share another laugh w/him. He is one of those naturally likable kinda guys & we need all of those possible.
Please convey our best when you get the chance, J.R. You can tell him its from two guys from Dallas that he says even sound alike.

I've bought two guns from Steve in the last year and found him to be friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with.
I had already decided to take both of his guns to Canada in a couple of weeks before this news.
I hope that all goes well. He is a true gentleman.
