I could not make it to the Vintagers shoot this year. It's the first one I missed since they started at the Orvis grounds in NY.
How does the "Southern" compare to the "Vintagers" ?
I may have a chance to attend the fall event.

From a vendor perspective: lovely venue, great shrimp and oysters, great weather (or it was last year) but no customers!
From a shooters perspective: (feedback from friends who were shooting) good course, friendly trappers and decent targets.
Also the chance to hunt on the property.
Both good but different.

I hear the Fall Southern is smaller than the Spring event but it should still be nice. I plan on being there for the first time.

I plan on attending. Shopping and shooting on Friday and shooting and spinning (handling/MOI measurements) Saturday. I enjoyed it last year.

I wish they would hold these type of events a little earlier in the season. That is during our prime hunting time as well as in many other states.
