Mine is a 48AL20. It lived behind the seat of my truck for years. Friction tube developed an orange tint, cleans off with steel wool.
However else we define a "rain gun", the thing ought to fit. Ideally, it does things beyond the capabilities of the hands that carry it. Mine is one of these. Have used it to kick K and P gun butt at NSSA events. Have no idea how it has done this, b/c I normally live between stink and mediocre.
Yup, a good rain gun makes us pray for rain. Even a couple of drops gives me an excuse to put the double away.
