based upon the info you provided, my guess is some where between $100 and $100,000.

All the info I have ever seen was that Krupp did not build any shotguns. They were a steel works & built some heavy ordnance, but not small arms. They supplied a lot of tubes to the industry for barrels, likely this one has bbls of Krupp Steeel & is what the marking refers to, maker unmarked.

Hi 2-piper just had another look at the gun, Krupp only on the barrels, British proof marks, 2 1/2 chambers, pluss stahl and Krupp essen stamped on for-end area, nothing on the action but looks very much like a Sauer gun, Horn trigger guard, will take some pics as soon as I get a chance, thanks for your info.

Please us with some images. Either early on components were sourced from Britain or it was taken by a soldier back to Britain where it experienced a reproof effort. Probably just a nameless tradegun.

Kind Regards,

Not that that's a bad thing.

The words you've noted on the barrel are "Fluss stahl" or, in English, "fluid steel".

As noted above, Krupp made steel and tubes, but not guns.
