Kol, go back to the shop and offer the guy around $4,000.00, bring up the points that Eightbore has noted; that shooters don't command those kind of prices and collectors, who may pay their asking price, only want pristine conditioned Model 21s. See what he says.

Kol, donīt be insane, they are baseball bats, if you have to have one, buy one at an auction in the UK at Holts for a 1/3 the price then import it to the states, better still buy a nice between the wars English boxlock for less money with a 100 times the workmanship and 1000 times the handling, best, Mike

My skeet gun is no baseball bat. If I was running a grouse killing business all my guys would carry M21 SK guns.

It's no surprise that the rest of the world dislikes our side by side shotguns.

+100

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder....Just like opinions on women, some like "Over-priced, Over-sized, Over-weight, Over-bragged" single trigger M21's....

And some like "sleek, fine, graceful, light handling double trigger guns and women"........

To each his own.....I would buy the Parker even if both guns were the same price.......just my opinion......

To each his own....

"overbragged"??

On the contrary, seems like saying you like the M-21 is a sure ticket to be beaten down with criticism by some whose taste is superior. They're heavier for gauge than some other guns, but so what? Why the hate? I don't understand the compulsive urge of some to elevate themselves by stepping on others' likes.

But yeah, to each his own.

British, French, and German Guns. If they are so great, why have we beat every one OF THOSE NATIONS WITH OUR GUNS!

Sheer volume there Sparky..... U.S. Industrial might....and the fact that Germany was run by an idiot in WWII thank God.......

If you study just a little history you will learn something...like:

The North American P-51 Mustang was not a good airplane until the British put a British Rolls-Royce Merlin engine in it....the Merlin engine was later built under contract by Packard in the U.S.....

The British invented the jet engine (Frank Whittle) and sent us that very technology during WWII....

The Messerschmidt ME-262 was superior to anything flying in WWII.....had it been produced in volume and used for it's designed purpose you might well be speaking German today.....

The German Luger, M-98 Mauser, 88MM field artillery piece, Panzer tank, Walther PPK's, Herstal 9mm's and so on were all superior in quality until the last couple of years of WWII......

This is just a sampling, the list is a mile long, suggest you read up on the subject.....

Waving the flag is a good thing, but reality is reality.........do you wave the flag but drive a foreign car..?...
