I looked at a 20 ga Parker DHE saturday with an 11,400.00 price attached to it. the barrels had a bad blacking job, really dark thick black, looked nothing like the bluing on my guns. the receiver was blued. what a shame.
They also had a nicely original 16ga O-frame VH for a fairly reasonable price but the lever was way left and the gun was off face.

Why did you tell us this? Where were the guns? Did you buy anything? Mike

Well, I didn't find the DHE 20 on their website, but I did find a Model 21 described as having a kidney pattern beavertail with an accompanying picture of a splinter forend Model 21. I also found a "rare double trigger" Model 21 accompanied by a picture of a standard single trigger gun. Another odd one was a VH hammerless Parker made in 1884. I can't imagine what the description would be for the DHE 20. Where are these guns. I know that not all Gander Mountains have "Fine Gun" departments, but which ones do?

hey Bill. I walked into the Lake Mary store saturday as I had about an hour and a half to kill waiting on my son. They have 4 parkers right now, I was interested in the 16ga until I found it to be loose but I'm really not in shotgun buying mode. They also have a nice damascus GH 12ga on the rack. I couldn't find these guns online either so I guess they aren't very organized.
This store doesn't have a fine gun dept, they are just on the big rack behind the counter.

I have yet to see any "Fine Gun" Department at a Gander Mountain.
