Thanks for your input (in fact, thanks to everyone for their input) and what you state is what I fear. However, this old gun, while long in the tooth, was a pretty nice gun at one time, though certainly not a "best" gun. I'm going to visit with the seller and I'll bring my camera and take a few photos as well as measure the chokes, LOP and drop at the heal.
