Them goobers ain't green are they? Boiled in salt water is the only way to enjoy them. Either way, they're delicious but true goober peas are boiled and don't let anyone mislead you!

I'd be just pickled tink if I could find a place where I could order UN-roasted salted peanuts. The damn things we get up here are roasted to the point of being a burnt offering. mad

Try searching for BOILED peanuts (oops, see thats already been mentioned)....there are certain areas on the east coast that eat them that way....the exact region is skipping my mind at the moment.

Generally if they are UN-roated they are raw.....but you can buy them that way as well...but I've never seen unroasted salted peanuts....


Sandy is Hitting the DC area right now...peak winds aren't supposed to get here for another few hours....they are saying 2-3pm today. We expect 5-10 inches of rain.
