I now have hi-speed wireless and had dial-up before. I stayed logged in with both, unless I cleared out my cookies or some other infrequent operation like that. Doing a "disk clean-up" with Norton does not "un-log" me. Other than what I suggested above I don't have an answer for you. Even then, having to do it twice doesn't make sense, to me.
