When I was first bitten by the double gun bug... I thought I could own them all. After more than a decade of learning curve, I have evolved my interests to somewhere near your current place. I really enjoy small bore hammerguns that were made during this apex of the Double Gun. I still can't pass up certain hammerless doubles and somehow have found myself with some very nice hammerless singles that I am very fond of. My go-to bird gun is a 3-1/2 lb Sauer hammerless single 16 with a 30 inch half octagon/half round barrel. Someone will have to pry my cold dead fingers off the stock to get this one away from me.

Funny how we all refine our interests as we collect through the years. Good topic.
