I believe today's shooting is a developing story, but didn't the Oregon shooter STEAL the rifle that he used. I hope you're not going to foolishly call for stealing to be illegal. Comforting to know your mental gymnastics justifying your gun control is 'fact based'.
I did not know that the Oregon shooter stole his gun, but are you suggesting that since we cant stop people from stealing guns we shouldn't have gun control? BTW, we have the technology that allows a gun to recognize and work only for a single shooter or otherwise be inoperable. Why not require that?

We do the best we can. Actually, we do amazingly well considering there are probably over 200 million guns in this country. I don't know of any shooters or hunters who feel known criminals or drug abusers should be allowed to purchase or use firearms. Those of us who are NRA members are proud of the time and money that organization spends on gun safety programs and equally proud of the results.

It's stupid liberal idiots like you nca225 that get people killed. If we still locked up mentally unbalanced people like we used to much of the senseless gun violence like today in Conn could be prevented. EVERY ONE OF THE LAST SICKENING MASS MURDERERS HAD SEVERE MENTAL PROBLEMS AND SHOULD NOT HAD BEEN LOOSE IN SOCIETY.

Yes I am specifically saying that you can not prove that more gun control than we already have will in ant way shape or form stop the criminal. You're a typical lib, take nonrelated points to cloud issues and fraudulently present them as fact. As to single shooter weapon systems. I have many reasons, but how about this. I assume you're here for the classic double gun. Are you recommending that they all be altered for owner ID recognition.
