My impression of the Remington 37 is that it was not made to reload from the shoulder. The bolt handle is far to far forward. The Model 52, on the other hand, is a perfect rapid fire rifle.

I have a 52B fitted in an Anschuetz 1407 stock which I used to use in rapid fire practice with a ten round magazine. It was the perfect solution to staying in condition during the bad weather winter months when the 50 foot indoor range was frequently all that was available.
