but I think the Nov. 1860 date to be in error and it should read Nov. 1880. Thanks for pointing out my typo! I did mean 1880. It is fixed on there now.

OWD The 8 Ga is fairly unique-14lb 33 in. 3.12 in across breech, hinged forarm, in an original Schaefer labeled case. Also with L.D.N. on the locks under the hammers-probably one of the biggest guns Nimschke engraved And it does have a price=just haven't figured that out yet. Reguards Bill

Stumbled across a listing for an early H. Barella(Nr. 1688/2009) with the top rib displaying: H. Barella Konigl. Preussischer Kaiser L. Russischer Hof Buchsenni. Berlin given as a 0.62" calibre with 26 1/4" pattern welded tubes. Accompanying was an additional 30" pattern welded tubeset with A.G. Geynez(I assume to be Genez?), No. 9 Chambers St. N.Y. Haven't found any images just yet.
Kind Regards,

http://www.doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbt...true#Post291525Just wanted to revive this thread as well as cross reference it to a W.R. Schaefer & Thos. L. Golcher - L. D. Nimschke with a few Belgian proofmarks. Kind Regards, Raimey rse
