ChiefShotguns Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,307 Georgia	I also have Sauers and other German guns of the period with bores of that diameter or very near that diameter, just not a problem at all. They were all designed to use felt and card wads and were simply tighter bored than today's guns. If it's in excellent condition as you say, you shouldn't have any problems related to the smaller bore.
