Here is my call smile

It is a trimming board.

The EMPTY hulls are placed in the fixture and locked in
The board is then placed on the table saw and run through with the exposed hull mouths being cut by the blade and the board NOT cut.

The 2 3/4 or longer hulls are trimmed to 2 1/2 inches

The rat chew marks on the left are from the blade whacking an non-flush, non-aligned board
and on the right from the push stick.

OR smile It could just be a home made shell box for 25 loaded shotshells
Is there a handle on the off side??
