Well, ALL our gun rights are as a result of the Second Amendment, but this thread doesn't have anything to do--SPECIFICALLY--with our Second Amendment rights. And if Dave were to move every thread into misfires where there might be disagreement, misfires would grow by leaps and bounds. I see disagreement here re dickering, but no incivility.

Just dont read any more of it and you don't have to go all feminine on us. LOL.

That's exactly what I always said to all of the whiners who cried to Dave every time a gun rights issue was posted here. But the sniveling little hypocrites didn't complain when other off-topic topics were posted here.

Take Michael Petrovs' post where he said that about 10 guys dominate the gun rights discussion and that is why no one else including him cares to have those discussions on the front page. Well, I looked through almost all of his posts and didn't see where he participated in ANY gun rights topics EVER. Some guys apparently just don't like to be reminded that they do nothing to preserve our rights. Mr. Petrov was one of the people who posted so much non-doublegun related material that Dave finally created a special section for custom rifles and the like.

Last Dollar whined and called gun right topics "pollution", and then got mad and left us. He stayed away for about 3-4 days and then returned and started a new thread entitled "Banned" which consisted of a baseball bat equipped with sights, and rail mounted tactical grip and light. Now what kind of crap is that?

What's good for the goose is good for the gander (or goose, or whatever).

Keith, your last post could also be characterized as whining, and with some bitterness. Wish you hadn't brought it to this thread.

More than 1700 views of this thread and only one of those reading it apparently has a problem with it and if we don't back off or move it, he is going to whine like a little girl to put us in our place.

You guys sure don't like it when the shoe is on the other foot. There were a hell of a lot more views of the Second Amendment topics when they were here, but that didn't prevent a small whiny minority from getting them moved. I am just making the observation that the use of whiny hypocritical feminine behavior rules the day here. I haven't e-mailed Dave Weber. Yet.

I especially enjoyed the comment from one of our resident Liberal anti-gun trolls, Jay Gardner, aka Gunflint Charlie. I'll bet YOU do wish I hadn't commented on this since you have always been one of the whiners who tried to quell 2nd-A topics.

Edit: I will not remove my words, as that would appear as if I was trying to hide my error.... only edit to say I was incorrect on two counts. Neither Jay Gardner, nor Jay Gramith (Gunflint Charlie) is an anti-gun troll. I was wrong and I feel rather stupid right now. I hope both Jay's can forgive me.

And though you got it wrong, you might have known it once from what I thought were cordial sidebar PMs following a past gun rights thread, where we seemed to find some common ground. Since you're so compulsive about calling out people by name over past failures to tow your line, how about you produce a single quote you think shows me to be anti-gun? Or "liberal". Either your memory is failing, or you don't understand hypocrisy when looking at it in the mirror.

Keith, I'm having difficulty understanding what you're complaining about. Pricing guns, dickering on guns . . . how is that any more 2nd Amendment-related than is a post about someone's favorite LC Smith--which is, after all, a gun. Which we might not be able to own were it not for the 2nd Amendment. One could make the case that ALL topics relative to guns are 2nd Amendment topics. Seems to me you're unhappy because Dave has moved all gun rights posts to Misfires. Well, in that case, you're making the wrong complaint to the wrong group. It's Dave's sandbox, which makes it Dave's call. If I want to look at gun rights topics, I'll go to Misfires and look. How hard is that? And nothing in this thread would be specifically about gun rights if you hadn't brought the issue of gun rights into the discussion. So you're going to complain and try to get it moved because you decided to turn it into a discussion of gun rights--which it clearly isn't? If you could get away with that, then you could turn ANY post on ANY gun topic into a gun rights post, then complain to Dave and call for it to be moved. Seems more than a bit childish to me.

Not sure why you felt it necessary to drag my name into your rant. I have no idea who "Gunflint Charlie" is nor do I care. Regardless I have no idea where or how you made up your mind that I am the "resident Liberal anti-gun trolls" and I believe an apology is in order.
