If someone else could do the translations I think we might make better progress.

Michael,
You have the gist of what is being asked by Nano. I can probably help you with further translations, but I'm not sure what the intent is in asking "No soy un de Mauser.Service."
"montajes pata de cabra"=goat foot mounts with... Not sure what goat foot mounts are

He may mean "Claw Mounts".
See this is why we need a translator, I though I had said No soy un experto de Mauser , between my non Spanish and my spell check it's a mess.

I'll bet that's what he means "Claw Mounts", although I don't know what that has to do with the word "goat"
I'm no Mauser expert either, but you're probably correct, that there are some experts on here that could answer any question he may have.
Nano,

Our new friend from Argentina has a Mauser in the caliber specified in metric-- it has a Carl Zeiss telescopic sight with the two claw foot mounts and the external adjustments of that period. He is still deciding the best way to transmit the photos he has of this rifle and scope, and may also have following question of more rifles later on. As a side notation, he denotes that he speaks the Castillian dialect of the Spanish language- the High Court based language of Seville, Barcellona-- a Basque from the Northern region of Spain might have some difficulty in understanding him, as would a street beggar in Tiajuana, Mexico. Our friend is well educated, and apparently has several Mauser rifles, and once we help him get the photos posted here, our many well qualified experts (and I am NOT in that group, just fortunate to be posting here and learning a great deal-Gracias--) can be of further assistance, of that I have no doubt.

Nano,
