Thanks for handling the photos Cameron-- Nice we have a new "compadre" from Argentina--most assuredly a custom rifle on the great Mauser long extractor controlled feed action- stippled receiver ring, pivot lever release for the floor plate (as opposed to the push button in the front ogive of the trigger guard bow--and I have seen some intricate scope mounts in my time-- first time I have seen one where the front ring encircled the ocular bell of the scope- which looks to me like a Zeiss-- one question for the sharp eyed that frequent this sector of the DGS website-- the paddle wing safety is set into the std. Mauser orientation for the FIRE position- but from the photo, to my eyes anyway, it looks like there is no clearance for it to move- it looks like it would be obstructed by the rear ocular bell- But not to worry- one of many fine advantages of the Mauser cock on openeing BA- if you lift the bolt up out of the locked position, the striker is blocked and in effect, the gun is on SAFE--very nice wood to metal fit indeed, I'll bet it shoots as fine as it looks too.
