The prices are up for the recent Julia auction: http://www.jamesdjulia.net/firearm/firearms.htmJulia can really move stuff. I can't believe the prices some this stuff commanded. That single Purdey 20g - lot 1317 - is one of the worst Purdeys I've seen in a long time. Yuck. Check out lot #1326 - an Adkin hammerless shotgun. Their description of this gun is an interesting examples of how to write a gun listing. Check out some of the info it leaves out - like the chambers sizes and what the bores were originally proofed at. I checked this gun out. From what I saw, it was originally proofed at 13/1 and it wes not reproofed. I didn't check the chambers, but I wonder if they were enlarged. OWD

Good to see somethings have not taken a nose dive! Perhaps nice guns as an investment, isn't such a bad thing. Altho, the Czar's Parker will not have the hype and excitment of this sale to drive up the price tag. Hype, mystery and excitement won't enter in it's next quiet gunroom sale. It'll take a hit!

Thats crazy "T"! Where was this big playa, when all of the gun world's eyes were on the auction that was being held - plowin' the back forty? Now I'm not saying Mr.X(new caretaker) is a blow hard - but they've been known to BS a bit!

Lowell and David are obviously not linear processors-if you fall into this rare category, their comments make perfect sense. Dr.(non-linear) Dozier sends
Exorcisms performed cheaply. "We get the Hell out!"

Squire Glenthorn, Absolutely True about the"Big Offer" following Morn.If you watch the Auction Video, It all went down so fast and when the Young Lady (Amanda)Shouted out JP" instuction's even J Julia was taken aback!!All the 'Parker Gun Collectors Assn.'were 'Wide-Eyed' to say the least!!!I have several Cyber-Shots that Capt.J Fender will use in his Part 2 about the A1spl.in Mr Cote's Wonderful,Colourful,Informative,Double Bum Journal. There is a 'Rumor that a'Little Old Lady Somewhere in New York" has dug deep down into her 'Unmentionables Draw' and found what appears to be a 'Fancy Lump of Pretty Wood', with lots of 'Sqiggly Lines on it',Could this be The Next Chapter in the Saga of No.168304?????CC/D>Trev.

Non-linear don't bother me, Dr. D. I'm not much interested if Lowell eats his scrambled eggs before he shaves before he files his nuanced cyphers or other way round. Despite his gifts for spiking the old exasperation meter, I believe he should be given credit for not indulging in the extremely linear autopuffery of some here. Sting like a butterfly; float like a bee. As for Mr. T, I think he's better unfettered by the MLA stylesheet and other sordidly conventional limits of space and time. I'm still chuckling over "Double Bum Journal". What will "Howie Marshall" pay for the original Pahka handle, Mr. T?
