John Can. Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 527 Canada	It looks like a pre WW2 Type S, pre WW1 had a rounded grip. Dont see any #s but this may help. Don't know how to get there directly, so > NitroExpress > Mauser Discussion > "Original Oberndorf Mauser 9 Sporter Variants" by Jon Speed. Hopefully I haven't crossed some line in the sand but Nano & Others will find it helpful. FWIW --- John
