OP RSGII Boxlock Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 10	Hello all. I am new to shotguns, especially old ones, and am trying to get more info on one that I have. It has a s/n of 123XX, is a 12 gauge an very good condition. It is a side lever gun. I am unsure as to how to add pictures. Can any one tell me the age of this gun? Thanks

Lorne Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 268 Likes: 4 VT	In the photo taken from the top, the shaping of the top tang, and the connection of the tang to the action utilizing those ridges (fences) is particularly clean and elegant. The gunsmith who did the work certainly had considerable experience, an eye for beauty, and a deft touch with a file. (That's what I mean, anyway.)
