jeweler Sidelock Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 820 Likes: 1 mississippi	I recently spent $550 to shim up the hinge.I know you can clean the tubes good with alcohol then apply Watco Danish oil natural which you can get at Home Depot or Lowes let it sit for an hour then wipe and they will look pretty good.Brad Bachelder who refinnishes barrels told me this.I know it will not harm the finnish either. monty
